She is the 2004 winner or The Cleft Palate Association’s Parent-Patient Leadership award for her book, “Your Cleft-Affected Child” and her activism on behalf of the cleft-affected community.
Her hobbies include music, crafts, reading, writing, theatre (director and actor), gardening (including koi), remodeling her old farmhouse in central Wisconsin, and spending time with her children. She loves to travel. Favorite country to visit: Ireland (love!). Favorite city: New York City (of course!) She loves attending plays and musicals and visits Broadway as often as possible! She's had the great fortune to attend theatre in London's West End, Stratford-Upon-Avon and in Dublin. She is always open to a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and great conversation.
